II. Course Withdrawal Application Procedures

(1) Closed Authorization (Mirror) Courses

tudents taking Closed Authorization (Mirror) courses through cross-university enrollment must submit their withdrawal applications via the NTU COOL platform. The procedures are as follows:

  1. Log in to NTU COOL and enter the course you wish to withdraw from.
  2. Click “Course Withdrawal Application” in the left-hand course navigation menu.
  3. Enter your reason for withdrawal, carefully read the withdrawal instructions, check the confirmation box, and submit your application.
  4. After submission, you can view the lead instructor’s review status and decision on the “Course Withdrawal Application” page.

Course Withdrawal Application Guides:

(2) Conditional Authorization (Satellite) Courses

Withdrawal procedures for Satellite courses are handled by the collaborating instructors and course administration units at each university in accordance with their internal regulations. Students should submit their withdrawal applications according to the schedules and procedures announced by their home universities. There is no need to use the NTU COOL withdrawal application function described above.

(3) Students Enrolled at the University Offering the Original Course

Students enrolled at the university originally offering the lead course should follow their home university’s withdrawal regulations and procedures.

III. Important Notes on Course Withdrawal

  1. Withdrawal applications can only be submitted once and cannot be modified after submission. Students must carefully verify all information before submitting their applications.
  2. Completing a withdrawal application on NTU COOL does not mean that the withdrawal procedures at your home university have been completed. Students must still complete the required withdrawal procedures according to their home university’s regulations.
  3. After the instructor approves the withdrawal application, students may proceed with the subsequent procedures required by their home university. Students can check the instructor’s review status and decision on NTU COOL. If the withdrawal deadline at the home university is earlier, or if supporting documentation is required, students may take a screenshot or print the instructor’s approval result from NTU COOL as proof for their university’s withdrawal application. Acceptance of such documentation remains subject to each university’s regulations.
  4. Even after the instructor approves the withdrawal application, students must complete their home university’s withdrawal procedures before they can be removed from the course on NTU COOL.
  5. Each participating university will compile and submit a list of students who have completed their internal withdrawal procedures to the NTU COOL team. Upon receiving the list, the NTU COOL team will remove the students who have completed the withdrawal procedures from their courses.
